The new website provides a structured digital archive of Dr. J.P. Giroud’s legacy, featuring sections on his life, publications, interviews, presentations, and photographs from his career. It highlights his pioneering contributions to geosynthetics engineering—including coining the terms “geotextile” and “geomembrane” and developing widely used design methods for infrastructure applications such as roads, landfills, dams, and liner systems—while making key resources and historical materials accessible to the global engineering community.
