ARGO-E GROUP was the publisher of the proceedings of the 3rd International Workshop on Soil-Vegetation-Atmosphere Interaction (RootS25) that took place in 6-8 November 2025 in Bari, Italy. RootS25 is an international scientific group established in 2023, focusing on advancing knowledge of the thermo-hydro-mechanical processes governing Soil–Vegetation–Atmosphere interaction and was organized by the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE). The conference was held at the Politecnico di Bari. Publication of these proceedings was made available in open-access through the ISSMGE Online Library.

The process of publishing the proceedings of the RootS25 conference included:

• Thorough checking of the formatting of each publication and correction of relevant errors
• Creating a table of contents
• Proper page numbering
• Assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for each paper and the volume
• Obtaining an ISSN for the proceedings
• Publication of each individual paper with DOI in open access through the ISSMGE online Library
