Photorealistic Simulation & Glare Assessment for Utility-Scale PV Development
ARGO-E successfully delivered a comprehensive photorealistic visualization and glare assessment study for utility-scale photovoltaic developments in Northern Greece, providing the investor with a robust licensing and stakeholder engagement tool.

By combining on-site photographic documentation, precise 3D reconstruction of the proposed installations, and advanced reality modeling techniques, we produced high-fidelity visual simulations from representative viewpoints within the nearby settlement. The renderings accurately replicate lighting conditions, camera optics, terrain geometry, and real-world viewing perspectives.
In parallel, a detailed solar trajectory simulation and material reflectance analysis were performed to evaluate potential glare effects under conservative daylight conditions. The study scientifically documented the reflective behavior of PV panels throughout the day, strengthening transparency towards authorities and local communities while reducing permitting risk.

Mitigation scenarios, including strategic vegetative screening, were also simulated to optimize visual integration during the design phase.
